ANGELO
- Dr. Evangeline B., born in New York City on December 4, 1929 died in
Catskill, NY on December 22, 2011. She was the oldest sibling of six
children of Anne and John Warren Walker of Brooklyn, NY, She was a
devoted wife of the late Stephen Angelo; devoted mother of Shiela
Caffrey and her husband Edward, Stephanie Angelo and her husband Rakesh,
and Mark Angelo and his wife Boni; devoted grandmother of Chandra
Andrews, Christina Balassone, Jennifer Caffrey and David Angelo; devoted
great-grandmother to Griffin Andrews, Phoenix Andrews, and Odin
Andrews. Dr. Angelo was a teacher at Hofstra University and the New York
State School System for over 35 years. She also was a master gardener
for Cornell University as well as a docent for Westbury Gardens and
Justice Tawney's house in Frederick, MD. She will be missed by her
family, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A Funeral procession
will form 9:15am Saturday at Buono Funeral Srvice, Inc., Main Street,
Saugerties and then proceed to St. Mary of the Snow Church where a
10:00am Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will take
place 9:00am Monday in Saratoga National Cemetery. Friends may call
Friday 2:00pm until 4:00pm and 7:00pm until 9:00pm at Buono Funeral
Service, Inc.
