DOYLE, Thomas DR. THOMAS JOSEPH DOYLE Dr. Thomas Joseph Doyle born January 5, 1925 died September 4, 2008. He served in the Pacific Theater on the USS Lacertea in the United States Navy in World War II. Dr. Doyle was the Chief Medical Officer for Consolidated Edison of New York, Inc for over 25 years. He was active in the American Association of Occupational and Environmental Medicine where he served as Speaker of House of Delegates. He moved to Georgia in 1992. He loved to travel, golf and tend his garden. He was an active member of Perimeter Presbyterian Church of Duluth, GA. He was a quiet man who loved the Lord with all his mind, heart and soul. He is survived by his loving wife, Joan Torgesen Doyle; daughter, Barbara Doyle Piecka and grandson, Thomas Andrew Doyle (TAD) Piecka of Studio City, CA; 4 step children, Dr. Bard S. Williams, III of Saratoga, CA, Laura K. Wilson of Marietta, GA, Susan T. Cool of Ellijay, GA, Darlene Harvey of Douglasville, GA and 9 step grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, September 5 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, GA 30076. A funeral service will held Saturday, September 6 at 11am in the funeral home chapel with interment in Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Perimeter Presbyterian Church, 9500 Medlock Bridge Road, Duluth, GA 30097.
