Richard L. Miller, M.D. Passed away September 14, 2008 at home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Carolyn, their children and spouses Cheri (Mark) Lewis, Wayne Miller and Kim (Rick) Merritt, his brother A. Donald (Martha) Miller, M.D. and Robert (Jane) Miller, Esq. (deceased), his brother-in-law Richard Kafeyan, and granddaughter Courtney Lewis and numerous nieces and nephews. Dick was born on October 15, 1933 in Pawnee, OK and resided in San Jose where he was a founding member of the RAMBLC Pediatric Group for 20 years and upon retiring from private practice spent the following 16 years with the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center's San Martin Clinic. He was an alumni of Carleton College and UCSF Medical School, and a member of the SCCMA, CMA, AMA, AAP (No. Cal. Chapter) and the Masons and served as a Captain in the United States Air Force. A celebration of Dick's life will be held September 20 at 11:00 at St. Andrew Armenian Church, 11370 So. Stelling Road, Cupertino, CA 95014 with a lunch reception to follow. Remembrances may be made in Dick's name to St. Andrew Armenian Church or Hospice of the Valley 4850 Union Ave, San Jose, CA 95124. Arrangements provided by Alameda Family Funeral Home, Saratoga, CA.
