Bonnie Lou Ecsedy, age 60, passed away Aug. 1, 2008.
She is
survived by her husband, Antal "Tony" Ecsedy; her sons, Michael, Steve,
Andy, Matt, Anthony; her grandchildren, Alexandra, Erika, Aaron, Kevin,
Ashley, Jessica, Logan, Jocelyn, Mason, Wyatt, Hannah, AJ, Debra, Ryan,
Samantha, Tyler, William; and great-grandchild, Rylie. She is also
survived by her brother, Dr. Donald Doty and sister, Carolyn Bohman,
her brothers in-law Arpi "Steve" Ecsedy, Alan Bohman, and sisters
in-law, Judy Doty and Judith Ecsedy.
Bonnie was raised in
Southern California, where she attended both Simi Valley High School
and Newbury Park Academy where she graduated high school. She attended
some college and attended nursing classes. Bonnie and Tony enjoyed a
house full of 5 sons, where they instilled life lessons and watched
them grow to have their own families and have lots of grandchildren,
which made for lively family events. Bonnie and Tony were always
helpful to those in need, treating them like family.
Bonnie
was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She
loved animals and especially all her dogs throughout the years. She
loved to listen to the oldies and sing along! She loved being a mom!
She will be missed by all who knew her. We love you Bonnie.

for Bonnie to be held at 1 p.m. Aug. 9, at the Rose Family Funeral
Home, located at 4444 Cochran St. in Simi Valley, at the corner of Tapo
and Cochran streets.

Russell I. 'Russ' Dyer, 88, died on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, after a brief illness.
Russ,
the Los Angeles Lakers No. 1 fan, was born Feb. 8, 1920, in York, Neb.,
and was the third of seven children born to Charles and Harriett Dyer.
He grew up working the family farm in Morris, Minn., and attended the
Morris Agriculture School, now known as the University of Minnesota,
Morris Campus. Russ enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1942 and was honorably
discharged in 1944. In 1948, he married Dalphine Craig, his wife of 56
years. They moved their family to Southern California in 1956. Russ and
Dell spent 25 years in Simi Valley, 12 years in Hemet and returned to
Simi Valley in 2001, where they resided with their daughter Dorine and
her husband Dean. He enjoyed a long and successful career with Nieman
Reed, the owners of Lumber City and Patio World.
Russ was preceded in death by his wife.
He
is survived by his four children, Dorine Darling-Giegoldt, Dale Dyer,
Sandy Kardos and Kathleen St. Claire; and his brother and sister,
Hollis Dyer and Carol Ruppert. He was also known as "Poppy" to nine
grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from
2 to 3 p.m. with a funeral service celebrating Russ' life to begin at 3
p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, in the chapel of Reardon Simi Valley Funeral Home.
In
lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Russ' name
be made to the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association of
Ventura County Inc., 921 E. Main St., Ventura, CA 93001.

It is with great sadness that the parents of Isabella Amelia Munoz announce
the passing of their precious angel on Tuesday, July 29, 2008.
Isabella was born July 23, 2008, in Thousand Oaks.
"Some people come into our lives, Touch our hearts and they are Never the
same."
She is survived by parents, Marisa and Travis; sister, Sofia; grandparents,
Lupe and Jack Seidita; grandmother, Sheryl Munoz; aunts and uncles, May, Rick
and Lydia Seidita; and cousin, little Ricky.

Valley.
A Vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at Reardon Simi Valley
Funeral Home Chapel. A prayer service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday,
Aug. 5, at St. Peter Claver Church, Simi Valley. Isabella will be laid to rest
at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Simi Valley.
