Catherine Frances Zankich May 20, 1922-Sept. 30, 2009 Born in San Pedro, CA. Passed away peacefully at her home in Sunnyvale. Her family includes, husband Martin (Nov. 17, 1919 - June 22, 2002). Children: Marty (wife Diana), Sharon (husband Sam), Joe (wife Nancy). Grandchildren: Sandy (husband Clay), Stacey (husband Wes), Angela (Fiance Robert), Marty III (wife Lisa), Danielle (husband Kyle), Heather, Christine. Great Grandchildren: Alyssa and soon to welcome Kelsi. Catherine retired from the Paul A. Mariani Packing Company, member and past president of the Y.L.I. of Cupertino, Member of the Jugoslav-Napredak Club, Cupertino and Sunnyvale Senior Citizen's Clubs, Member of the Sunnyvale Church of the Resurrection. She loved playing Bingo with her friend Shirley, and was a faithful fan of the SF Giants. Friends are invited to attend Vigil at the LIMA & CAMPAGNA SUNNYVALE MORTUARY, 1315 Hollenbeck Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be at the Church of the Resurrection, 725 Cascade Drive, Sunnyvale, CA on Monday, October 5, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society .
