Allan Eugene Brenner
May 20, 1938 - October 21, 2008

Allan Eugene Brenner passed away surrounded by his loving family and friends on October 21, 2008, after a ten year bout with Parkinson's disease.

Allan was born on May 20, 1938, in Oroville, CA, where he spend most of his childhood. He enlisted in the US Navy after graduating fromHealdsburg High School, here he served as one of the top Communications Technicians for four years. While enlisted in the navy he spent most of his career on the "USS Enterprise" aircraft carrier, and was stationed in Istanbul, Turkey. After serving in the Navy, Allan met his wife Sheran, and shortly thereafter attended Apprenticeship School and pursued a career as a General Building Contractor. He retired from building shortly after he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. He had a lifetime passion of reading God's word and completed the Berean Bible home study course during his retirement. Allan was also a talented artist that loved painting natural scenery with oils, charcoals and pastels.

Allan was a man of integrity with a unique sense of humor. His family would like to share some of his favorite things: wiggling his ears, the ocean, painting, woodworking, driftwood, wonders of nature, playing and watching basketball (esp. the Golden State Warriors), reading and teaching the bible, country music, meatloaf and baked potatoes.

Allan is survived by his loving wife Sheran, his son Theodore Brenner, his daughter Tina Hammell, and son-in-law John Hammell. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and his sister Peggy Noble.

A celebration of Allan's life for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 29, at 1 pm, at the Century Assembly of God Church, at 550 West Century Blvd, Lodi, CA. Phone # 209-334-3225.
