Joseph F. Amaro Jr. Feb. 3, 1938 - Oct. 9, 2008 Campbell, CA - Joseph, 70, died Thursday in Salem, OR. He was born in Santa Clara and lived in the Silicon Valley all his life. Joseph served in the United States Air Force. He worked for 10 years as a locksmith. Joseph enjoyed bowling, woodworking, coin collecting, garage saling, fishing, hunting, and he loved his golden retriever dog, Goldie. He is survived by his daughters: Kimberly Stubenrauch of Stayton, OR., and Paulette Bittner of Olympia, WA., Son: Michael Rizzo of San Francisco, CA. Brother: Leo Amaro of Santa Clara, CA. Sisters: Mary Adamson of Sunnyvale, CA and Kathleen Albertoni of Oceanside, CA. 5- grandchildren and 4-great-grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service was held Sunday, October 12, 2008 at 4:00 PM at Cascade View Free Methodist Church in Sublimity. Private Interment Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, OR.
